What we do and why we do it
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Eden Farm Wellness provide group and individual art, craft, photography and food for health programs as well as farm experiences and tours, talks, festivals, workshops, work experience for marginalised groups (Cultural and Linguistically Diverse Peoples, First Nations Peoples and People with Disabilities) in the Goulburn Valley region.
We are committed to offering expertise and our working farm to impact lives for good. We provide engagement opportunities and events that support marginalised groups (Cultural and Linguistically Diverse Peoples, First Nations Peoples and People with Disabilities). We seek to inspire and benefit the community long term by taking a forward thinking, relationship building approach in celebrating ability, cultural diversity, collaboration and social inclusion. We will use our vibrant space to help the community gain new skills, increase confidence, find purpose, look after their health and generate business in order to reach goals and live life to the full.
Through our own stories of strength and resilience in the face of adversity and our love for those often left behind, we advocate for these marginalised people in our community. We help them connect, gain confidence, find purpose and celebrate diversity. We have a deep passion and the ability to directly assist and show there is always hope and that much is possible and attainable with the right supports. We want to help them thrive.
Meet The Team
CEO, Founder, promoter, photographer, artist, Programme developer, Event organiser. Katherina loves organising events, loves people and hosting dinner parties, loves doing mensa tests, gardening, painting, making paper and elaborate art and sculptures from recycled paper, adores animals and she even sings to and names the cows. Most of all, she loves being a Mum and working with marginalised people and helping them shine. She cooks mean Österreichischer Palatschinke (Austrian pancakes).
All round jack of all trades and master of one million including but not limited to: building our new shop and cafe and playing with his new sawmill ’til the cows come home, visioning the farm’s future around helping people become the best version of themselves, designing solar systems, electronics, watching the birds nest in our garden, short band radio, apple and rhubarb pie, and playing the guitar (base and rhythm). He cooks a mean omelette too complete with fresh parsley from the garden.
